asier, all credit goes to the respected party. http://www.archeagegame.com/en…..-crafting/

Combat Classes
Your Class is composed of three Skillsets chosen out of a possible ten. There are no restrictions on which Skillsets can be paired with each other, resulting in 120 uniquely-named Class combinations of varying functionality (and efficacy). Want some bard skills alongside your dual-wield melee and your archery? There’s a name for that: Bloodskald.
Your first Skillset is selected at character creation. Only six options are available at that point, preventing unsuspecting players from potentially spending their first ten levels without any offense (all of the first six Skillsets start with a damage ability). The second and third Skillset slots unlock at levels five and ten, and the Skillsets selected can always be swapped around for a gold fee.

While your overall character level determines how many points you have to spend on active and passive abilities, each Skillset levels up independently. As you gain experience, your equipped Skillsets will progress, too (providing access to new abilities as they level up).
Skillsets retain their individual level even when “unequipped,” allowing you to level multiple trees to max if you’d like. Skillsets you’ve never used will stay at level ten, regardless of your character’s main level – it’s typically easier to slot one lower-level skill with two higher ones when leveling up additional trees. Resetting the way you’ve spent points within a Skillset is done on the skill menu; resetting which Skillsets you have equipped can be done at a Skill Manager NPC or one of Nui’s followers at a resurrection site.

Skills:

Archery
This Skillset focuses primarily on ranged damage dealing – as one might expect – with the tradeoff of ranged abilities having a damage penalty when too close to the target. Some active abilities help keep the target at a distance while applying damage-over-time and other effects, and its passive abilities boost mobility and ranged physical damage.

Auramancy
This support Skillset deals in buffs for the caster and their group, debuffs for your enemies, and a mix of light healing, defense, and crowd control. Its broad toolkit makes for good group support.

Battlerage
Charge in, fight up close, and keep your targets from getting away! This Skillset is primarily focused on offensive prowess with passive abilities that boost your attacks and provide some compensation for dual wielding weapons.

Defense
This is the primary Skillset for those who want to pick up a shield and take some damage, packing the high-protection skills, taunts, and damage mitigation of a “tank.” Its passives focus on blocking and reducing incoming damage.

Occultism
Focused on applying a variety of status effects and debuffs from a distance, this Skillset is great for bringing a few more tools to your damage or healing setup. Its passives boost your mana regeneration and chance for magic critical hits.

Shadowplay
Fast attacks and high mobility in and out of combat situations are the specialties of Shadowplay, especially stealth and surprise attacks. Its passives lower aggro generation, increase your evasion, and boost your chance to score high-damage critical hits.

Songcraft
As the Skillset for any aspiring bard, Songcraft comes with a variety of tricks. Its abilities include ranged damage and crowd control, buffs and small heals, debuffs, and more – all good tools to have access to whether solo or in a group! Its passives primarily boost Songcraft abilities.

Sorcery
Smite your enemies with ranged and area-of-effect damage in the form of fire, electricity, and ice! Sorcery passive abilities increase damage while its multiple status effect combos provide ample disruption among its targets.

Vitalism
Keep yourself and others alive with heals, heals over time, protection spells, and resurrection. Vitalism passives increase your mana pool and the potency of your healing effects.

Witchcraft
This Skillset is all about crowd control – both applying and removing it. Witchcraft spellcasters lock down fights and control battles while their passive abilities increase defense and crowd control intensity.

Combos
Synergies between the abilities in different Skillsets are called combos. Most combos are based on an ability applying a status to the target that causes another ability to do more damage or apply another increased effect. Some combos are specific synergies between abilities: After you jump away from a target with Shadowplay’s Drop Back, you can instant-cast Sorcery’s Flame Bolt.
Combo effects applied by an ability are shown as small icons at the bottom right of the ability mouseover’s stats section.
At the bottom of the mouseover text under “Combos,” you’ll find a description of abilities that can trigger a combo effect. Abilities that have special effects on other abilities will have these listed in the ability text by name.

Proficiencies, aka Crafting Skills
Entirely separate from combat skills or character level are your Proficiencies, which is a term for the crafting skills available in ArcheAge. You can start gaining proficiency in these crafts at any time simply by performing related activities – mine to gain Mining Proficiency, cook to gain Cooking Proficiency, make wood furniture to gain Carpentry Proficiency. In fact, most actions that are performed by spending Labor (a resource pool like health or mana that regenerates slowly over time) will result in your character gaining Proficiency as well as experience. It’s entirely possible to level your character to cap through Proficiencies instead of through combat.

At 10,000 points in a Proficiency, it will be capped until you choose to unlock that specific skill as a specialization. You can raise any number of Proficiencies to 10,000, but from there specializations are limited – only 5 can reach 20,000, only 4 can reach 30,000, only 3 can reach 40,000, and only 2 can reach the maximum current amount of 50,000 points. (It’s possible to increase specializations, and maximum skill is subject to change.)
The benefits of specializing in additional tiers of Proficiency are increased action speed (when harvesting or crafting), decreased Labor costs, increased chance to gain rare items when gathering, and access to skill-locked crafting recipes.
In addition to gaining experience and skill when using Proficiencies, you’ll also gain Vocation Points. These points can be redeemed like a currency at the Blue Salt Brotherhood’s representative merchants. The Blue Salt Brotherhood is a global partnership of gatherers and crafters who provide support to each other via training quests and specialty goods bought with Vocation Points.
